So the current work in progress now is this happy little ribbed cuff for Jason’s domino socks. I know it’s a good sign when I stop every now and again just scrunching and admiring the yarn ball. I should have bought another to make myself a sock! GAH JUST LOOK AT IT!
The way each of those greys just flow into each other, how brilliantly that ball is wound to show it all off..I think I’m smitten with Crazy Zauberball. (Like my improvised knit marker? I should consider buying some proper open markers, but for now this will suffice.)
My wrists are on fire again, so I’ve been forced to take knitting (and drawing, typing, and anything else for that matter) much more slowly just to try to heal. Every row I manage to slowly complete has been savored like a fine dessert. I think I’m gonna go ahead and take this project as a lesson to slow down and enjoy the little details of hand-making socks.
Beautiful yarn and the socks are coming along nicely. Do take your time and look after those wrists.

Aren't Crazy Zauberballs just great? The way the ball is wound to give you a little peek at the colors coming up next but leaves enough hidden to tantalize you with the possibilities…So sorry to hear that your wrists are flaring up again. It's frustrating to be unable to do any of the things you enjoy while resting up. I hope they heal soon!

Pretty! Definitely rest your wrists. If you take ibuprofen, don't let that relief sucker you into knitting more! I did that once, and when the drugs wore off, I was in a world of hurt…

Right?! They're fantastic! I'm going to have so much fun with this sock and the next one. :DOh, definitely. Both this and my 'day job' require a lot of the activities that strained my wrist and elbows in the first place, so pausing on those things are driving me nuts. Here's to a speedy recovery for me.

Ah, good point. I will admit I was tempted quite a few times to just work through the temporary pain relief, but I'll know better than to do that now!

So beautiful! I'd love to know how to knit, but I'm afraid I would fall in love with the yarn a little too much. :)http://naomemandeflores.com/en

Yes, it's kind of a battle between loving the yarn and making sure it's put to good use!

I always get excited when I see DPNs! Your project looks great so far. Yeah, I have felt the effects of blogging and knitting in my elbows. But I take a break and get back to it! LOL!
