One of our drives to Washington state included a tour around the Olympic Peninsula. Getting to see Ruby Beach along the way was a treat.

From my visit to close friends on the island. Every trip up there is a soul-reset.
Another place I wish I could go today. These photos were taken in mid-2019.
Moving down to West LA was magical because of how much closer we were to Santa Monica beach. I can’t wait to stand in that sand when it’s safe again.
In late 2016, we took our yearly trip to Pike Place for our holiday shopping and sightseeing. Nick let me know that there’s a small yarn shop upstairs. I didn’t have too many projects in need of yarn, but will not resist a chance to visit a new LYS. The warm, welcoming atmosphere was the first thing I noticed walking in. So Much Yarn felt like a combination chill spot for knitters to sit, knit, and chat, and spot to sample and buy yarn. Within minutes I felt toasty and right at home.
